Threaded Walnut Wood Jars - Aluminum and Carbon Fiber Threads

I've never seen anything like this, have you? I came up with this idea when making my regular threaded wood jars. I'm incredibly pleased that the design not only works very well but also looks super unique.
The aluminum and carbon fiber threads are cut out in a separate operation and then glued into grooves/slots that I cut using a precision CNC machine. There are 4 threads in each jar (referred to as the "start", so these are 4 start threads) which makes these twist down with only a 1/4 of a turn to lock the top on. They feel awesome to turn as there's zero binding or scratchy feeling...just smooth opening and closing.
These are the only 2 I made so if you like either one, you should probably snatch it up. I will likely make more aluminum threaded jars like this in the future but I doubt I will make more using carbon fiber. It's just too difficult to clean-up and sand around after gluing them in place.
DETAILS:
-The base jars are made from the same piece of curly claro walnut.
-The lid on the carbon fiber threaded jar is also made from the same curly claro walnut and is bookmatched which gives it the mirrored look.
-The lid on the aluminum jar is black walnut from a separate piece of wood. This lid has some beautiful curly grain streaks.
-I sanded these up to a higher grit than I typically do, 600 (normally I stop at 400 grit) and they are silky smooth inside and out.
-Hand rubbed hard-wax oil finish which is eco friendly, 100% food safe and incredibly durable. I don't use the hardener that comes with the oil to speed up curing time. This does not effect the durability or longevity of the finish at all, it just takes a little longer to fully cure, which is about a week.
DIMENSIONS:
Outside Diameter: 80mm (3.13")
Height: 57mm (2.25")
Inside Diameter: 62mm (2.44")
Inside Height: 45mm (1.8")
Thanks very much for looking and supporting small business!
Price is for 1 jar, not both.
