Walnut and Zebrawood Headphone Stand with LED Lighting
Walnut and Zebrawood Headphone Stand with LED Lighting
Custom designed using 3D modeling software, modern machinery along with many hours of hand scraping, sanding, finishing, soldering...etc. All by a single person in Austin, TX. This was a limited run of 6 total. Each piece of wood was hand picked by me using some of the nicest and most exotic pieces I have. Some of the woods were originally purchased to be made into guitars.
You will receive the actual item in the pictures/video. Shipping is included in the price and will be shipped within 2 business days.
--American Black Walnut base with catch-all pocket
--Zebrawood "neck" which is organically shaped - compound curvature
-American Black Walnut headphone rest
--The headphone rest arch is a compound radius which transitions to a smaller radius at each side to alleviate denting the foam in your headphones. I designed this using 3D modeling software for this purpose and it works very well
--Neck made from billet 6061-T6 (aerospace grade) aluminum - machined from a block of aluminum, not cast
--LED which is powered by any 5 volt USB-C power supply - "Daylight" hue (4500k)
--Custom aluminum knob with Burled Amboyna inlay is a switch and dimmer. This uses PWM for dimming the LED which is the optimal method
--The feet are leather which are recessed into the base so it sits low but provides grip and won't harm/scratch the desktop. I glued the leather to matching walnut pieces which were then glued into the recessed pockets of the base. It's very stable.
--Catch-all pocket in front helps keep your space organized. I've found you can lean your phone against the neck to have it visible if desired
--Sanded to 400 grit and coated with an eco-friendly hard-wax oil that is super durable and feels very smooth to the touch without looking like a plastic coating
DIMENSIONS:

This batch of 6 headphone stands took a lot of thought and time to design, fabricate and finish. I might be biased but I absolutely love how each of them turned out. I will most likely make more at a later date but I don't know when that will be.
Thanks for looking and supporting small business.
